Each one is handmade in Lancashire from FSC-certified European oak using traditional joinery and glue rather than screws or nails for a clean, sturdy build.

Craft and materials

The timber is finished by hand with a natural blend of tung oil and beeswax, giving the oak a soft matte look that is completely pet-safe. Easy to maintain, each bed comes with a small bottle of finish so you can refresh the timber over time.

Our mattress covers are made using British wool textiles from Abraham Moon, chosen for their quality, durability and naturally hypoallergenic properties. The result is a bed that is genuinely comfortable for your dog, and calm in your home.

Sizing

The Extra Small cushion measures 500mm x 350mm.

We generally recommend it for dogs up to around 40cm nose-to-tail and weighing up to roughly 6kg, depending on build and how they like to sleep. Breed examples include Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Yorkshire Terrier, Maltese, Papillon, Toy or Miniature Poodle, Mini Pinscher, and similar-sized dogs.

If your dog is near the top end or loves to stretch out, we usually suggest sizing up for the best comfort.
